Immersion history

Immersion history

Our new immersion subject is creativity. I have done history and I have just finished drama. This is what we did in History:

We did a game that the LC7 or maybe high school students made. I finished the game twice.
Here is a link to a history game: Hobsonville point history game.
I learnt a lot about the history of New Zealand in these sessions.
This is what I learnt:
That NZ citizens fought against their own police because of rules that they didn't agree to.
That Maori actually became an official New Zealand language REALLY, REALLY late.
My highlight from history immersion was THE GAME because it was really original and I learnt from it.
My challenge was also THE GAME because when you went to the next time (or level) it became harder.
